My Style: Snowstorm

Winter in northern Arizona this year seemed super mild until February. For the last week, northern Arizona has been blessed with a couple of wild snowstorms. For the first snowfall, I grabbed my new Odd Molly jacket and headed into the mountains. I can’t resist a moody snow shoot. Who’s with me?! I soon discovered it was not only snowing, but also raining; thank goodness for the rainbow polka dot umbrella that was stashed under the passenger seat in my car.

I do want to mention that Odd Molly is one of my favorite clothing brands with beautiful designs and excellent quality. This cozy velvet jacket is wonderful on cold days. I have worked with Odd Molly a few times, and their pieces always exceed my expectations. I have two jackets, one pair of jeans, and a sweater from Odd Molly. I love each piece. This jacket is my current favorite.

These jeans are from eShakti. The company offers customization in design and sizing. I’ve tried them twice and the sizing has never been perfect for me. For example, I had to get these pants hemmed a few inches after they arrived; I was bummed, because I specified my height and where I wanted the jeans to be cropped. Now that the jeans are cropped, I like them. I did ask them to change some stitching from the online design, and they did a great job with the customization. So, eShakti offers a fun variety of merchandise, but you might still need to make adjustments once the clothing arrives. You can read my first review of eShakti here. (I always try to be honest with my readers. Please remember, even though I am gifted and sponsored, that all selections and reviews are my own.)

A snow day is always better with a cute outfit. One of my favorite memories from when I was in school is snow days. I loved building snowmen, sledding down hills, and making hot cocoa with mini marshmallows. Please comment below about one of your favorite snow memories. Xoxo, Shelly
