The cold weather is back this week in northern AZ (snow expected this weekend) and I'm freezing. We had a couple of warm days that were a bitter sweet tease. Luckily, I just got this sweater and flannel dress from Tobi to get me through. I styled the pieces with a black, wide-brimmed hat, ankle booties, and black sheer tights paired with over-the-knee socks. The last finishing touch to the outfit was my new favorite backpack from Fusion. I love the boho, vintage accent of the floral tapestry while the clear section totally modernizes the piece. Wearing this beauty to college definitely helps the days seem better (at least more fab). Hope you all have a wonderful Friday and weekend! Any fun spring break plans? Let me know in the comments! My Style: Sticks & Stones
Less than ten days until Spring Break, but who's counting the days? (ME.) As you know, I'm loving the bohemian vibes this spring. A sequined dress paired with over-the-knee boots makes a stunning combination. I styled the combo with a long, black shrug, a wide-brimmed fedora hat, a copper purse, a delicate silver moon pendant necklace, and a skull ring to add an edge.
Right now, I'm working on my art portfolio, getting ready to complete my Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design. As an artist, I find it kind of funny how many of my designs are feminine with bright colors, while my favorite color for fashion is black (you know, boho grunge with an edge.) Personal expression comes in so many forms and can be so different depending on what you are doing. I adore creative freedom and the ability to be eclectic and flexible, ever changing. My Style: Spring Fling
Spring break can be the best time to surf at the beach, picnic at parks, dance at poolside parties, and listen to awesome bands. Styling comfortable outfits is key to enjoying the best of times. I began with high-rise, shredded cutoffs, a silky white tank, and a soft, tie-dyed kimono. Adding a tassel necklace, platform sandals, ombré sunnies, and a gorgeous tasseled bag completed the music-festival worthy outfit. I’m loving blue and white for spring and summer. I’d like to hear what are your favorite color combinations for the next few months, especially if you’re planning a spring break getaway. Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Easy Breezy
For a relaxing afternoon at the lake, I wore this chic, casual look. Soooo ready for spring in this pretty maxi shirt dress with double side slits. It’s still chilly in the mornings, so I paired the dress with a loose knit sweater. To complete the styling, I added a wide-brimmed hat, a soft faux-leather satchel, and d’Orsay flats for a totally comfy ensemble.
I just got back from a few glorious days in Miami, but I won’t be posting those photos until April, when the Adidas Neo spring/summer campaign goes live. But I had to tell you that I had the best experience in Florida--check out my Instagram to see a few behind the scenes photos. Xoxo, Shelly
