Hear ye, hear ye! I, Shelly Stuckman, declare that Topshop should be your new go-to denim destination. Why, you may ask? Well, Topshop carries numerous classic and trendy cuts, offers the most size and height options out of any store I've shopped at, and provides topnotch quality denim priced affordably. Ever since I tried my first pair of Topshop jeans last year, I have wanted to shout from the rooftops how wonderful they are. When my friends and readers ask me, "Where should I shop for jeans?" my recommendation is Topshop. I wear their jeans and genuinely love them, and I think you might too. In my closet, I have a pair of their Cropped Wide (which I have featured in a few posts, because they are one of my favorite pairs), Mom (which are reviewed and styled in this post and are a new fave), and Straight (which are also reviewed and styled in this post and a new fave) jeans.
Mom Jeans
Mom, I'm stealing your jeans--well, at least the style (high-waisted, comfy, and fab). Who knew mom jeans were the missing piece in my closet?! I had wanted a pair of vintage-inspired charcoal black jeans for awhile and these are exactly what I was looking for. When I saw these jeans on the Topshop website, I was thrilled! In this look, I'm wearing Topshop's MOTO Washed Black Mom Jeans, styled with the Whipstitch Striped Jumper. I love how the jeans fit, loose but not baggy. For the jumper, I ordered a size up because I love the oversized look. I have been addicted to striped sweaters this winter, and I especially love this one!

Straight Leg Jeans
As soon as I found out that my hometown now has a record store, Trax Records, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for my second look featuring raw-hemmed, vintage-bleached straight leg jeans. Plus, I'm always looking to add to my modest-yet-growing vinyl collection. The owner Daryl was super friendly and welcomed the spontaneous photoshoot. (Not all store owners are so nice about photos, as many of my fellow bloggers and photographers know.) For this look, I wore MOTO Vintage Bleach Straight Jeans and a cool graphic 'Arizona' T-Shirt. The raw hem of the jeans and vintage cut made me feel a bit rock-and-roll. I guess the rows and rows of vinyls all around me helped with that too. You can never go wrong with an oversized graphic tee and a pair of high-waisted straight leg jeans.
Now that you know some of my current favorite styles of jeans (wide leg, mom, and straight leg), I would love to hear what your favorite cuts are! Do you have a flare for bell bottoms or does your heart belong to a sexy skinny jean? Let me know in the comments below. Xoxo, Shelly
