We stayed in Tempe at the Graduate Tempe, courtesy of Graduate Hotels. I invited my mom to join me for the little getaway in the valley. I believe one of the best ways to show your mom you love her is by spending quality time together. Fun fact: my mom took these pictures while we were on our mini staycay in Tempe. We got a queen-queen on the top floor with a campus view of Arizona State University (ASU). It was a beautiful view. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from ASU's Gammage, a stunning theater designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In the evening, we enjoyed some R & R in the comfy beds and quiet room, so we could explore the hotel in the morning. We loved the colorful pool decor and funky hotel lobby decor. Like most hotels that have been open for a few years, some hallway carpet and pool furniture could be revamped, but the retro vibes were amazing and our room was perfect. It's such a fun place to stay! Plus, the staff was so nice and friendly. The hotel also offers bike rentals and a complimentary access to their fitness room. We didn't get to try the restaurants (the Normal Diner and Tapacubo Mexican eatery); however, they looked and sounded wonderful. Next time we will definitely try the food.
For the trip, I packed my current skincare love, Circcell; I’ve been using their Geothermal Clay Cleanser and Dew pH Perfector for over a month now in my skincare routine. I love how the clay cleanser can also be used as a mask. I’ve been alternating using it as a cleanser and mask. I also love how the perfector acts as a toner. Circcell is the most luxurious skincare I’ve ever tried, and it’s one of my favorites.
Remember, if you ever need a place to stay in Tempe, Arizona, I highly recommend the Graduate Tempe. Xoxo, Shelly
