Since I've outgrown the acceptable age to go trick-or-treating, my family and I started a new tradition of staying in, handing out candy, and watching scary movies. Last year, I dressed up as Nerdy SpongeBob to hand out candy, but this year I'm leaning towards authentic couch potato if you catch my drift. Our ultimate movie list consists of some festive classics and scary thrillers. Our animated and family-friendly Halloween movies are the following:
- Casper
- Coco
- Corpse Bride
- Frankenweenie
- Goosebumps
- Goosebumps 2
- Halloweentown Series
- Harry Potter Series
- Hocus Pocus
- Hotel Transylvania
- Hotel Transylvania 2
- Hotel Transylvania 3
- Monster Family
- Monster House
- Nightmare Before Christmas
- ParaNorman
- Scooby-Doo
- Scooby-Doo 2
- The Haunted Mansion
- The Little Vampire
But my favorite movies to watch are real scary ones. My perfect scary movie would not be focused on gore, includes an interesting storyline with a ghost, zombie, or demon somewhere in the mix, and has a good amount of suspense and jump scares. Humor is also a major bonus in my book; a few of the movies below have some great humorous lines. My current scary movie list is the following:
- Annabelle
- Annabelle 2
- A Quiet Place
- Before I Wake
- Creep
- Creep 2
- Crimson Peak
- Down a Dark Hall
- Drag Me To Hell
- Fido
- Flatliners (2017)
- Friend Request
- Happy Death Day
- Insidious Series
- IT (2017)
- Lights Out
- Mama
- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
- Shaun of the Dead
- Sinister
- Sinister 2
- The Babadook
- The Boy
- The Cabin In The Woods
- The Conjuring
- The Conjuring 2
- The Nun
- The Skeleton Key
- The Visit
- Train to Busan
- Warm Bodies
- World War Z
- Zombieland

Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this website.
ReplyDeleteIt's simple, yet effective. A lot of times
it's hard to get that "perfect balance" between usability and visual appearance.
I must say that you've done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome.
Excellent Blog!
Thank you very much! I designed it myself using a mix of online widgets, custom html, and starting with a base of a Blogger template, so that means a lot!
