Best Jeans For Your Body

As many woman have discovered throughout the decades, jeans can be your best friend or your greatest foe. Finding the perfect pair of jeans that are comfortable, flattering, and trendy can be tricky business. Getting to know your body shape and desired look is the first step in finding the best jeans for you. For the longest time, I've read that certain jeans aren't meant for certain body types, such as cropped jeans aren't flattering for short frames. Listen up world, cropped pants aren’t just for tall girls. You just have to find the pair that works for your body! I have discovered that as long as the jeans are high-waisted, they tend to be flattering on my petite leg/long torso frame and help my body appear more proportionate. The crop-flare at the bottom of the jeans helps balance the curve of my hips. Now for girls with long legs and a shorter torso, low rise jeans tend to help their bodies appear more proportional.

I've also discovered that straight leg jeans lessen the appearance of hips, while skinny jeans accentuate curves. There's a time and place for which each fit can be ideal; it depends on what you style the jeans with. Skinny jeans are great for contrasting a flowy loose top or an over-sized sweater, while straight leg jeans are cute with form fitting or crop tops. I found this amazing video on youtube that explains more about how to find the perfect jeans for your desired aesthetic; if you have a few minutes, I definitely recommend you check it out below:
