New year, new possibilities. For Christmas this year, with the money I was gifted from family, I decided to treat myself by purchasing a luxury bag, a.k.a. the mini backpack that was on a 50% sale that I’ve been dreaming about all year.
First accessory for the new year: a mini backpack. I have been wearing a cheap mini backpack for this last year; it is falling apart at all the seams. I have already sewn it together once. So, I feel like I’ve earned this investment. I think the Furla mini backpack is chic, simple, and useful. I am going to be rockin’ it a lot. Every girl deserves a nice bag.
Second accessory for 2019: a black hat. Wide brim or luintentant, I think a hat is the perfect accessory to finish a look. I started wearing hats out of high school. During school, they didn’t make sense, since they weren’t allowed to be worn (thanks dress code for making fashion nearly impossible.) But now, I can wear a hat whenever I please, and I do. Hats are an underrated item. If you haven’t tried incorporating a hat into your style, do it! They are so fun!
Third accessory for this year: a teddy bear coat. I think Emma Chamberlain (a popular Youtuber) made this piece a closet essential, so thanks Em. (Are we on a nickname basis? Absolutely not, but I’m going with it.) I have owned two black fluffy coats for a couple years now; I just ordered a camel colored one that’s due to arrive later this month, and I’m stoked!
Last but not least: a pair of little black boots. Need I say more? Everyone deserves a pair :)
