Summer Essentials Part II: One Top, Two Looks

Look One

The summer season might be coming to an end for some, but in Arizona, the summer heat will last at least another month or two, with a cooling chill usually just in time for Halloween. This pretty pastel floral print blouse is a must for summer and for transitioning into fall. The tie-up front and flared, crop sleeves are a perfect design to go with jeans or a skirt. As I’ve said before, Topshop clothes perfectly fit and have a lasting quality. I can’t give enough kudos for these amazing pieces. This first look included bleached, cropped wide leg jeans, a delicate hammered bar necklace, and my fav sparkly ring set. For the shoes, I selected the Irenee by Steve Madden. Probably the most popular design this summer and pre-fall season, this tan suede beauty has an ankle strap with a low 2” block heel--sexy but comfortable.

Look Two

For the second look, I chose another Topshop must-have summer/pre-fall staple: the denim skirt. If you’ve been searching for that perfect denim skirt, then search no further. This A-line mini with twin patch pockets and a full length, front zipper goes with everything. Again, it has the Topshop perfect fit and quality. For this styling, I selected a stunning lariat necklace with a purple stone (looks just like amethyst) and wrapped it twice to make it fit nicely in the V of the crop top, more like a layered choker. For the shoes, I selected the Rosette by Steve Madden. This classic d’Orsay cut has a pretty crisscross ankle lace and a plush suede upper. Such the perfect espadrille for the season!

I know a lot of people are getting excited for fall, but summer continues for many of us. For my family and friends in Australia, spring is just beginning. These outfits are perfect for spring too :) Have a great week! Xoxo, Shelly
