Last week, I was happily surprised with a package from SIX:02 with a scratcher and a note that gifted me the new “it” adidas sneaker, the Falcon. I have loved working with SIX:02 in the past (which you can check out here), and I was stoked to get my hands on the shoes that are selling out worldwide!
Shopping Adventure
For this shopping adventure, I set out for their Scottsdale Fashion Square location. I immediately knew I was at the right spot as their front display showcased the shoe of the moment, along with new apparel from adidas. Kylie Jenner is the campaign model, which I was excited to learn. My guilty pleasure is watching “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (and I've met Khloe, which you can read about here), so needless to say, I'm a fan.
This was my first time at this SIX:02 location, and the store sparkled it was so clean and organized. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They made the experience a delight. They helped me find the Falcon sneakers right away and showed me all the adidas apparel.
Decisions, Decisions
The pink Falcon sneakers were sold out, but they had a pair of the black and white in my size. However, I had been wanting a pair of white chunky sneakers for awhile, so it was love at first sight. The sneakers run true to size but a little wide. I normally wear 6.5 and the 6.5 b/w pair was very comfortable with socks. I got the white in size 6 (because the 6.5 was sold out), but I want to wear thinner socks/stockings with the size 6's, so they're perfect.
Shop My Style
After I decided on the white Falcon sneakers, it was time to select an adidas outfit. I liked a lot of pieces, so I had fun in the dressing room trying on looks. I could have happily gone crazy and literally tried on every adidas thing in the store, but I resisted the urge and only tried on the three looks below. Which ensemble is your favorite? For sizing reference, I'm 5'4" and wearing smalls. Everything fit great. I honestly wanted them all, but I fell head-over-heels for the green look.
